In-house counsels know a thing or two about the art of building bridges. The role demands aligning business strategy with managing legal risk and helping to forge connections between departments. We listen to problems and find solutions, spanning the emotional and logical shores–it's no coincidence there's the word counsel in the job title.

In this issue, we're delighted to feature both metaphorical and literal in-house bridge-builders.

And while we have your ear, it's a good chance to ask you: How well are we connecting? Let us know how often you want Juno emails to land in your inbox in this survey here - and have a chance to win a Juno prize to say thanks.

Office hacks: Cross-referencing

Applying cross-referencing ensures that the terms/section references are used correctly throughout the whole document and that they can be updated by selecting all (ALT+A) and pressing F9.

There are two quick ways to insert cross-references:

1) Keyboard short cut: ALT+N then type RF; or ALT+S then type RF;

2) add the command to the Quick Access Toolbar at the top of the window by right-clicking the command on the ribbon and choose Add to Quick Access Toolbar.

Then, you can use the keyboard shortcut ALT+5 or a different number key, depending on its position on the Quick Access Toolbar, to insert cross-references.

You can customise your Quick Access Toolbar by clicking the drop-down button and selecting More Commands.
